People have mastered this culture in ancient times. In India the eggplant was known in the I millennium BC. In Russia it became known since the 17th century. The eggplant is rich with useful substances, such as pectin, protein, cellulose and many others.

- - seeds of eggplants;
- - boiled water;
- - potassium permanganate;
- - ashes;
- - compost;
- - humus;
- - superphosphate;
- - pots;
- - polyethylene film;
- - sand;
- - egg shell;
- - urea;
- - humus.
Instruction
1. Select full, good seeds. Consider that seeds keep the viability up to 8 years. But the best viability at seeds which are stored no more than 4. Disinfect seeds, having lowered them for 20 minutes in potassium permanganate solution. For its preparation dissolve 1 g of potassium permanganate in 100 g of boiled water. After the specified time get seeds and wash out them in water several times.
2. It is possible to disinfect seeds by endurance them in aloe juice. Place the cut-off leaves in bank and put in the fridge for 6 hours. Then wring out juice and you keep in it seeds within a day. It is also possible to sustain seeds in 1 l of water with 1 g of potassium permanganate dissolved in it, 0.1 g of copper vitriol and 0.2 g of boric acid. In 15 minutes after immersion in solution take out seeds and carefully wash out in clear water.
3. After seeds are disinfected, process them microelements and wet in snow water. Or dissolve 1 tablespoon of wood ashes in 0.5 l of water and leave for day. Periodically stir slowly solution. Day later merge top that ashes remained in vessel, and for 4 hours place seeds in this solution.
4. Prepare soil mix. Mix by one part of compost, the washed-out sand with two parts of humus. On one bucket of this mix add 60 g of superphosphate and 2 glasses of ashes. As eggplants painfully react to change, at once transplant them in separate pots.
5. Week later after preparation of soil mix fill with it pots, put seeds and on 5 mm fill up with sand. Tie pots film and put them on batteries. Before emergence of shoots the air temperature indoors has to be 26-28 degrees. Daily remove film for about 10 minutes. As soon as there are shoots, put pot on the lightest place.
6. Water seedling of 1 times in 6 days, moistening all soil mix. You watch that there was no stagnation of water. Combine waterings with fertilizing. Small shatter shell of 10 eggs and put in 3-hlitrovy can. Fill in with hot water. In 5 days filter solution and water with it seedling.
7. Allocate under eggplants the fertile site without weeds and with protection against wind. Well eggplants after bean, root crops and cucumbers grow. Do not plant eggplants on those sites where last year tomatoes, pepper and eggplants grew. One week prior to landing prepare holes and put in them on handful of ashes, urea, humus and superphosphate, mix. In day of landing water holes with hot manganese solution, having added 3 g of potassium permanganate on 2 buckets of water. Plant seedling to the warm soil at once. Do not bury stalk, water 2 times a week with temperature of 25 degrees.
