1. The distillation of green onions does not require a lot of light therefore it can be grown up not only in the open ground in the summer, but also during the autumn and winter period in panik, greenhouses and even in room conditions. For cultivation of onions on feather choose one of the following grades: Arzamas, bessonovsky or Rostov. Comes in the land pilferers of the large size or onions samples. 4. Use fertilizing in the form of ammonium nitrate (part 20 grams of saltpeter on 8 liters of water), chloride potassium (15 grams on 7-8 liters of water), superphosphate (15 grams on 8 liters of water). The first fertilizing is necessary already week later after landing of onions. The second – 8-10 days later after the first fertilizing. Duration of cultivation of green onions during the spring period – about a month. After feathers of onions have reached length of 30-40 centimeters - remove it manually.
5. In the spring the onions left on storage begin to sprout. That not to throw out it, it is possible to grow up green onions in house conditions. Fill in box or pot (depending on quantity of planting stock) soil peat soil and plant in it bulbs, closely to each other. Properly water and 10 days later put on well lit place (windowsill). It is necessary to make 1-2 times a week watering of onions. If bulbs not germinated, then it is necessary to wet previously them in warm water for day, then to cut off neck and to land in soil.
