Leek is considered one of favourite vegetable cultures. It contains many mineral salts which awaken appetite, stimulate activity of liver and gall bladder. Leek renders preventive and partly therapeutic effect at rheumatism and obesity.
Instruction
1. Take gauze piece, spread out on it quantity of seeds necessary to you and tie the ends. Wet gauze with seeds warm water a little. It is possible to wet them for the night, and it is possible also for couple of hours.
2. Plant seedling of leek in February or in March. Take seeds German or Czech. In pot of cylindricity fill the earth on 2/3 volumes, in the bottom of pot make openings. Evenly distribute seeds, after that fill up them with soil on 2 cm. Cover pot with plastic bag and put to the warm place.
3. Remove package from pot of onions each 2-3 days. Slightly water and again cover. The package on pot is necessary to maintain humidity. After there are first green shoots, remove package, put pot on well lit windowsill.
4. As soon as on the street the good weather is established, you will hang out pot with onions on balcony. Only do not forget to cover it from direct sunshine.
5. Leek can be landed and at once in soil. Carefully loosen the earth, then dig out groove of v-shaped form of 15-16 cm in depth. On bottom strew humus and ashes, well mix, water. Then plant seedling, straightening backs, and accurately powder the soil. Distance between seedling leave 8-10 cm. After plant seedling, it will be visible that onions are planted in trench, and it protects it from cold winds. Cover from above with film before warm days. Such disembarkation promotes bleaching of leg.
6. Cleaning of onions will happen in different terms, it depends on grade. You will see when the leg became rather thick, and onions were extended in length.
