The peony is one of the most beautiful views of flower plants which is ideal for decoration of any garden site, in particular during the spring period. - - Drainage (gravel, large splinters of earthenware, coarse bank sand, marble crumb);
- - Compost;
- - Wood ashes;
- - Superphosphate;
- - Potassium sulfate.
Instruction
1. When choosing the place for plant consider the following its features: - Well grows on the open solar place; - Transfers weak shadowing, but blossoms in shadow badly (or does not blossom at all); - It is not recommended to plant plant near large bushes, trees and constructions; - Strongly suffers from lack of necessary number of power supply and moisture and also improper microclimate.
2. In two weeks prior to landing prepare holes with a diameter about sixty centimeters. The distance between holes has to make about a meter. Preliminary preparation of holes is necessary in order that the earth has managed to sink enough.
3. On bottom of holes before landing put drainage. Thickness of layer has to be about twenty centimeters. For drainage it is possible to use, for example, gravel, large splinters of flowerpots, marble crumb, coarse bank sand. Over drainage put compost and (or) humus.
4. Fill in hole the mix which is (carefully mixed) from the following components: wood ashes – 300 grams, superphosphate – 200 grams, potassium sulfate – 100 grams.
5. Fill upper part of hole with layer of the earth about twenty centimeters thick (the smaller layer is undesirable). This layer of the earth mix with humus and (or) compost in proportion one to one.
6. Further you can begin to plant peonies: place plant roots in the last layer of the earth. At the same time pay attention to that buds of peony were about five centimeters lower, than ground level.
7. Condense the soil. This procedure is necessary in order that all formed emptiness were filled. Slightly hill the planted plants so that kidneys have been completely covered with the earth. Water peonies in the evening in warm weather it is abundant, but is not frequent.
