Landing of seedling to the greenhouse - one of the key moments in cultivation of tomatoes. In midland it is usually landed in the first - the second decade of May. And that the start was successful, it is necessary to be preparing for it beforehand.

1. It is considered that qualitative seedling of tomatoes has to be thickset, with the thick stalk no more than 30-40 cm high with 6-8 real leaves and unblown flower brush. If it was succeeded to grow up such - perfectly!
2. As soon as weather begins to allow, expose it for hardening on not glazed balcony. Still you can bring the first days for the night to the apartment, and further only throw spunbond at threat of frosts. You hold tomatoes on the balcony also on short rations: without fertilizing and at the minimum watering. In total seedling gets three weeks of shock therapy therefore, having got after landing to hothouse conditions, it quickly starts in growth.
3. Why early to sow seeds? It is possible just to seed tomatoes later. Most likely, influence productivity not only dimensions of seedling, not the smaller value has also its age.
4. It is not less important to prepare properly and the greenhouse; to cover it not less, than in two weeks prior to landing then at once to loosen the soil, to create ridges and to dig out holes depth on shovel bayonet. It is necessary to fill them with humus and mineral fertilizers at least one week prior to landing too.
5. You bring in each hole on half-buckets of loose sheet humus, handful of ashes and teaspoon of superphosphate. You introduce nitrogen and potash fertilizers usually with watering. They, unlike phosphoric, can burn roots. Start planting of seedling, only when the earth in tomato lodge will get warm up to 12-15 °C. At lower temperature at tomatoes the root system practically does not develop, and they can then for a long time "sit stake". Be guided on grass on the street: as soon as it has turned green and has started in growth, it is possible to start landing.
6. Start landing in cloudy day or in the late afternoon. In the beginning 2-3 times pour full holes water and wait until it is absorbed. Then take tomato, overturn it the top down, passing stalk between fingers, and accurately remove capacity. Then fast put it with earth lump in dirt and powder with the earth.
7. To water tomatoes not earlier than in month after landing. The first 7-10 days, so far they take roots, to them that water suffices that you will pour in holes. Small restriction with watering promotes further more active development by soil backs. At the same time plants are "fattened" less, so, are engaged in forming of flower brushes more. Scientists call it the balanced development.
8. You do not hurry and hill tomatoes. In thick layer of the cold soil without air access the backs badly acquire nutrients (except for nitrogen). Therefore leaving at first consists in scarification and garter of plants to lane twine which one end is twisted around stalk at the height of 7-10 cm and is started by the sliding loop. It in process of thickening of stalk will stretch.
9. Throw the second end through wire and tie in the same knot, leaving small loop it could move quietly on twine when you weaken it once again to twist around the growing-up stalk (clockwise). Do it not less once a week, and whenever possible and more often. Length of twine has to be centimeters 60-70 bigger, than distance from the soil to wire.
