Painting of walls and ceilings, previously papered, allows to reduce considerably time and forces at stage of alignment of surfaces. Wall-paper not only is capable to hide defects of putty, with their help it is possible to receive original impressive surface without excess efforts.
It is required to you
- - flizelinovy wall-paper;
- - primer;
- - wallpaper glue;
- - wallpaper roller;
- - paint roller;
- - paint brush;
- - wide painting palette;
- - scissors;
- - tape measure;
- - construction level or plumb;
- - painting knife.
Instruction
1. Part necessary amount of wallpaper glue according to the instruction of the producer, considering the area of the pasted-over surface. As a rule, glue for flizelinovy wall-paper is produced in the form of powder which is diluted with water for receiving working solution.
2. Prepare surface which should be pasted over with wall-paper. Remove from it dust, and then put layer of primer and wait for full drying, having prepared free space meanwhile indoors where it will be possible to develop wall-paper and to cut off cloths.
3. Cut off wallpaper cloth of the necessary size with allowance in several centimeters for possible adjustment. Using the level or plumb, draw pencil on the pasted-over surface the vertical line. It will serve as reference point for the first cloth of wall-paper.
4. Begin to paste over walls or ceiling from one of room corners. Apply glue by means of paint roller on the prepared surface. It is not required to apply glue on flizelinovy wall-paper not only, but also it is forbidden in order to avoid their deformation.
5. Paste the first cloth, being guided by the outlined line. Leave allowance as with one, and on the other hand. Smoothing with the wallpaper roller cloth from the center to edges, you watch that wall-paper was not deformed and did not stretch. The main objective at this stage is to avoid air bubbles under cloth.
6. After the first cloth is pasted, put the palette to joint of wall and ceiling from the pasted-over surface and cut the edge of wallpaper cloth painting knife, being guided by the flat line of working surface of the palette.
7. Prepare the following cloth and paste it as well as the first. It is necessary to glue end-to-end, pasting of wall-paper under painting with an overlap is not allowed. You watch that wall-paper did not stretch as after drying in places of joints gaps can be formed.
