1. You remember: processing of glass can be made in two stages: by grinding of edge of glass and its polish. In abrading process the edge of glass remains rough, but at the same time it is leveled and becomes safer. During polish the edge takes transparent form and also smooth surface.
2. Execute roughing of edge of glass by means of flat-nose pliers or the glass-cutter (more precisely than dredging on its side). This procedure is carried out as follows: take the used tool 2-3 mm of the acting edge of glass and, moving up or down, break off sharp ledges. If ledges small, them it is possible "to brighten up", clamping and strong squeezing flat-nose pliers.
3. Final treatment is carried out by two methods: rectilinear and curvilinear. Rectilinear processing will allow you to receive profiles of various types: trapezoid, flat, rounded and also shaped edge. Moreover, by means of rectilinear method of processing of edge it is possible to give to side part of glass any corner in the range from 0 to 45 degrees. The curvilinear technology can be used for processing of figured edge of irregular shape.
