4. If have presented you peonies, lower the split stalks for five minutes in medical alcohol. Also stalks of peonies can be placed for ten minutes in hot, and later in cold water that buds were closed – it will prolong the term of life of flowers. Stalks of lilies should be placed for a while in hot water and also to cut off stamens.
5. In order that flowers have stayed longer, it is necessary not only to contain them correctly, but also it is correct to cut off. For cutting of cultivated flowers use sharp secateurs and submerge svezhesrezanny flowers for two hours in bucket with water. Put bucket to the cool place to keep elasticity of flowers.
