Folk remedies for protection of plants are less effective, than chemical, but they have advantages - availability, simplicity of preparation and environmental safety.
Vegetable medicines are folk remedies in fight against diseases and wreckers (sowing campaign garlic, onion, tobacco, camomile, yarrow, the mountaineer creeping), use them at small defeat of plants diseases and small number of wreckers.
The tinctures, broths, powders, extracts and infusions prepared from cultural and wild plants can be such medicines.
Broths and infusions are not subject to long storage therefore their preparation has to be just before use. It is possible to prepare the concentrated medicine which long remains in densely closed ware.
That the protective effect was maximum, raw materials are prepared in the corresponding phases when large amount of toxins contains. These are phases of blossoming and budding. If apply roots to mixing of mortar, then prepare them in advance in the spring or in the fall.
Plants as a part of which there are esters, glycosides, saponins, alkaloids need to be collected in dry sunny weather. Then to dry up in shadow where well aired room, sometimes overturning. Store in dense bags.
Infusion, broth, powder and tinctures for different medicines are prepared on one technology.
Infusion. To fill in the cut raw materials with boiled water in the enameled ware, to leave for 20 minutes on small fire, without allowing to begin to boil. To remove from fire, to cool and filter through strainer. To merge the received infusion in clean glass jar and it is good to close cover that active ingredient has not lost the properties.
Broth. To put the cut raw materials in the clean enameled pan, to fill in with boiled water and to boil 30 minutes. Then broth is cooled, filtered and at once used according to purpose. For temporary storage broth needs to be poured in glass jar.
Powder. Vegetable raw materials need to be crushed in mortar before formation of powder, to sift through strainer and to put in clean ware for storage. For further use with the dry or boiled look.
Tincture. The received essential oil from plants is added to spirit solution.
Spraying by broths and infusions is made in the morning or in the evening in dry weather, covering with solution the top and lower parties of leaves, at the same time the sprayer has to be not closer, than 50 cm from plant.
Vegetable medicines it is necessary to carry out processing of plants each 5-7 days.
