The door lock is one of the main elements ensuring safety of the room. Laid on door locks are inferior on reliability to box locks a little, but if your door is made of the massif or is galvanized, then the scarf can provide necessary protection. Independent installation of scarf will demand the minimum efforts and the simplest tools.

Instruction
1. Measure and note one third of its top on the internal and external parties of door. Draw horizontal line on door inside by means of ruler. Continue the line on face of door and its face side.
2. Take the template which is included in the package of delivery of scarf and with its help plan opening under screws and cylinder.
3. Drill small through hole in the center of marking. Insert chisel drill into drill. Drill the opening coinciding on diameter with lock cylinder.
4. Insert cylinder and the fixing ring into opening from outer side of door.
5. Record adjusting plate laid on the zamkamontazhny plate is established from the inside of door and fastens by means of screws. Drill openings under screws and record assembly plate. At the same time the first line of plate has to be flush with edge of door.
6. Cut off connecting rod. It is necessary to consider that the cylinder connection rod of the lock has to support assembly plate approximately on 12 mm. Measure the necessary length, clamp connecting rod extension wrench and accurately saw off superfluous by means of hacksaw. Producers of locks specially do connecting rods of big length in order that locks approached to the doors of any thickness.
7. Press the button located on the scarf body, having released latch. Combine the cut located on backside of the body of the locking device and connecting rod. Fix the lock on assembly plate by means of screws.
8. Set lock latch to position "is closed". Plan the provision of bottom and top of uvula of latch on door case. Apply locking level to door case on the tags made earlier and note its contour.
9. Punch groove under locking level of the lock by means of chisel and mall. Establish locking level in groove, close door and check correctness of installation. If necessary deepen groove. Make openings and record locking plate. The scarf is put.
