The viol better known as pansies, gardeners love for the bright flowers of fancy coloring capable to be pleasing to the eye from spring to late fall. Call it still three-colored violet. This plant perfectly feels both at the dacha, and on city lawn. There are three groups of pansies. Some very much early blossom, others differ in large flowers. The third group – the real giants among flowers. Large-flowered forms blossom late, but flowers are abundant and very beautiful.
Instruction
1. The viol can be one-year, biannual or long-term. Biannual – those motley bushes most of which often grow on lawns is most popular. Decide that you want – to grow up seedling at yourself or to buy. If you have found seeds of suitable grade, it is possible to try to grow up seedling and at itself.
2. Prepare box. It is the best of all to take long steady wooden box. Fill it with the nutritious soil. In agricultural shops the special soil for flowers is on sale. But it is possible to make it also, having added full fertilizer to normal sand-chernozem mix. Well loosen the earth and make grooves. Seed seeds, cover them with the earth and well water. It is the best of all to sow viols at the end of June.
3. When there are shoots (it usually occurs in 1-2 weeks) – periodically weed them and moderately water. Wait for the first real leaflet. After that viols can be put on bed. But it will not be the constant place for your violets yet.
4. Prepare the place. It has to be slightly shaded, especially if you grow up krupnotsvetny grades. If the place is in deep shadow, flowers will turn out small. Constant direct sunshine are harmful to viols too. Properly loosen the earth and fertilize. Make small poles at distance about 5 cm from each other. Plant flowers so that the neck of back was at the level of the soil and slightly condense the earth. It is possible to make it just fingers.
5. In about ten days after change begin to feed up plants. You introduce fertilizers of times in ten days in turn – at first mineral, then organic, then again mineral. You watch that there were no weeds.
6. At the end of August it is possible to replace flowers already to the constant place. The soil is preparing approximately as well as for seedling – it has to be friable and feeder. Best of all the loamy soil in which before landing bring humus or compost approaches. Put pansies at distance 20-25 cm from each other. Bed powder with peat layer about 3 cm. It will protect plants in the early spring. But the layer of peat should not be and too big. Anyway it should not cover plant completely.
7. In the spring the viols landed towards the winter very quickly have first buds. Begin to feed up them. It is the best of all to apply mineral complexes. In all the rest – leaving normal. Moderately, but regularly water, weed – and be not upset if during strong heat of violet for any moment cease to blossom. After the heat falls down, flowers will appear again.
