Instruction

1. For cultivation of oyster mushrooms you will need the non-residential premise with certain microclimate. As well as possible the basement, cellar or closet will be suitable for these purposes. Prepare substrate. For this purpose best of all straw of wheat, barley, pod of sunflower or peel of buckwheat will approach. Raw materials have to be fresh and clean, not have foreign smell of mold. You will need about ten kilograms of raw materials which it is necessary to crush on fraction to five centimeters.

2. For moistening and exception of infection of substrate with foreign organisms carry out heat treatment. Fill up the crushed substrate in big capacity and fill in with water up to the top. You cook on average fire one and a half-two hours, drain water and cool up to 26-28 degrees. It has to be slightly damp, it is easy to check it: gather mix in hand and squeeze in fist, water at the same time should not flow, only emergence of several drops of liquid is admissible.

3. Prepare polypropylene packages (from under sugar or flour if inside there is cellophane – take it) and disinfect them (having lowered for hour in solution of chloric lime 1%). In each bag about five kilograms of substrate have to be located. Fill bags with layers - 5 centimeters of substrate, then half of centimeter of mycelium, and so to the very top, substrate has to be the last layer. Tie bag and make cuts in chessboard order through each 10 centimeters.

4. Transfer bags to the basement or other room chosen by you in which it is necessary to maintain temperature of 22-24 degrees. Air humidity has to make 70-90%, lighting at the same time is not required. The distance between bags has to be about ten centimeters. At close arrangement the emergence of mold is possible that suppresses growth of mycelium and leads of myceliums to death.

5. The period of incubation lasts about 15-20 days, during this time the mycelium expands in bag and substrate becomes white color. After this time the blocks begin to fructify. The period of fructification is two-three months, during this time it is possible to collect several waves of harvest. Collect oyster mushrooms accurately, twisting fruit bodies hands. After collecting the blocks some time have a rest, then the following wave begins.
