1. Touching upon subject of change of the size of elements of work table, it is necessary to notice that it is carried out by means of change of display resolution. Today there are two simplest and popular ways allowing the user to perform this operation.

2. Way first – reduction of the sizes by means of properties of the screen. To reduce the size of graphic elements on work table in this way, you have to perform the following operations. Click with the right button of mouse on empty area of work table. The window of parameters among which you need to choose category "Properties" will appear. Having chosen this category, you will see small window which will contain several tabs on work table: "Parameters", "Registration", "Prompt", "Work table", "Subjects".

3. Switch in the section "Parameters", having clicked with the left button of mouse the corresponding tab. In window the Display resolution point will be displayed. If you establish the maximum permission, you will see that the sizes of graphic elements on work table will change – they will become smaller.

4. You can reduce work table, having used the interface of the video card. For this purpose on your computer set of necessary drivers has to be installed. Find icon of your video card in system tray and click it with the right button of mouse. You need to find the Display resolutions point in the appeared menu and to open it. In the opened window you will be able to set the necessary parameters: the permission is higher, the size of graphic elements of work table is less. Also it is necessary to notice that, having increased resolution, you reduce the sizes of all elements displayed on the monitor screen.
