In the course of repair it can turn out so that the tile was unintentionally soiled with primer and have not removed spot at once. After drying it is much more difficult to remove primer from surface, but nevertheless there are ways which help to cope with such trouble.
Before repair it is desirable as it is possible to cover more carefully surfaces which are not intended for processing. It can be done by means of special ukryvochny film or cellophane, and still to stick material joints for reliability with painting tape or adhesive tape. But if preventive measures have not worked and pollution after all have turned out, it is necessary to clean off them. As it is better to wash primer from tile
It is the best of all to wash away primer right after it has got on surface. Then it is possible to manage simple wiping by the rag wetted in water. Here the main thing is not to miss time because primer quickly dries, but at the same time does not gain durability yet.
Primer gains durability within two weeks after drawing. After this term its removal will take place with big difficulties.
Spots of primer can be wetted water and to cover for couple of hours with wet rags. After a while primer bulks up, and its office passes much easier – usually it manages to be wiped from surface the same rags. Try to remove primer with rigid sponge, well moistening it with water – pollution is wiped not at once, but the tile remains almost safe. How to clean off primer, using special means
If simple means do not help to get rid of primer spots, it is possible to use means of household chemicals. But with them it is necessary to be more careful – not all cleaners are capable to remove primer from tile, without having spoiled it. It is possible to use acid household means for cleaning of plumbing, but only in case glaze acid resisting. Sometimes the strong window wiper like "Mr. Muskul" helps, but if tile surface not smooth, it is necessary to work in addition also as abrasive fine-grained sponge.
For a start it is possible to try to get rid of primer by means of large amount of baking soda.
If the surface of tile does not transfer acidiferous means, it is better to use the special remover for paints which is not containing acid. It is possible to apply something from solvents – gasoline, turpentine, alcohol, acetone, toluene. If you do not know as any given means will affect tile surface, but after all are going to use it, try to work at first with it on the small site of tile, in the hardly noticeable place.
