Silicone sealant – irreplaceable material without which any construction or major repair does not do. It is simple in use, also inexpensive is safe. But there is one "but": it is not so simple to remove silicone sealant from surface.

- - dry soft rags;
- - white spirit;
- - edge;
- - water;
- - means for washing of ware;
- - stationery knife;
- - vinegar.
Instruction
1. Having decided to remove old layer of silicone sealant, for example, from acrylic pallet of shower boxing and to anew process seams silicone, first of all, try to podkovyrnut accurately old layer the screw-driver. As a rule, it is easy to pick out old layer.
2. After that remove walls of shower boxing from pallet. If from the first attempt to make it it is not possible, thrust knife into slot between walls and pallet, and then cut the sealant which has remained inside.
3. Then repeatedly try to remove walls of shower cabin: on it time everything has to turn out. From acrylic pallet remove residues of silicone by means of pumice. This "tool" with ease will remove silicone and at the same time will not do visible harm to acrylic surface of shower cabin.
4. And finally, process the cleaned surface dry rags and anew apply silicone.
5. In case it is necessary to clean from silicone sealant glass surface, you can make it fine edge. However such procedure has also negative sides. First, purification of glass of silicone by means of edge is laborious occupation which can take any hour. Secondly, the risk of damage of glass is too high. So try to use more sparing method, for example, to remove silicone sealant by means of white spirit solvent. Moisten rag with solvent and wipe with it the cleaned glass surface then wait about a minute. By means of stationery knife begin to clean off silicone. The fact is that sealant under the influence of white spirit will become jellylike therefore to remove it by means of stationery knife will not make special work.
6. Wash out glass means for washing of ware - it will remove solvent. Wipe glass dry.
7. To clean tile from silicone, accurately cut off construction knife big pieces of the stiffened silicone, and moisten the remained sealant with vinegar then properly rub dry rags.
