Instruction
1. You will be able to remove spots from wine on carpet rather easily if you find it at once and immediately start mitigation of consequences. It is not necessary to grab napkin and to rub carpet – just accurately blot that wine which has not managed to be absorbed yet. That part of the spilled wine which has already wetted pile needs to be removed too. Lay dry napkin on spot and press down it to carpet leg, having risen on it. Repeat it several times while the napkin does not remain clean and dry.
2. Take hydrogen peroxide in solution or in tablets. Pound tablets in mortar in powder. No small pieces in it there should be. Part it in water in the ratio 1:3. Try to sustain this proportion as the bigger amount of hydrogen peroxide can change coloring of carpet. To make sure that it does not happen, try to wipe these with solution pile of your carpet in some place where change of coloring will remain imperceptible.
3. Water with hydrogen peroxide solution spot from wine and leave for some time, watching how its intensity will change. When the spot practically disappears, again take dry napkins and repeat the same actions, as with the spilled wine.
4. Dry well carpet napkins, be not upset if the liquid which has appeared on them is red color. If the spot has not up to the end disappeared, again water it with solution of hydrogen peroxide and dry up. Then you can wipe spot with the soft clean rag, the wetted in warm water.
5. Consider that if the carpet is already polluted, then hydrogen peroxide which is strong cleanser can leave spot which will be allocated on the general polluted background on such carpet. If it happened, after removal of spot from wine make full cleaning of your carpet.
