Unfortunately, there are situations when repair of aquarium is required not to do without serious intervention in life of small fishes and plants.

- Glass scraps, silicone adhesive, edge of safety razor, container for temporary disembarkation of aquarium fishes, plants, snails.
Instruction
1. One of the most widespread problems connected with the maintenance of aquarium - water course. First of all define the reason of emergence of pool. Visually define the place from where water filters: it can be any of seams, crack in day or sidewall.
2. Sometimes the beginning aquarians sound the alarm in vain. The small puddle can appear over and over again how many do not wipe only because water temperature is much higher room, and the condensate gathering on the lamp or cover of aquarium flows down on back glass or seam of aquarium. In this case just it is necessary to eliminate running off of drops on outer side.
3. If nevertheless water proceeds through seam, prepare the temporary accommodation for all inhabitants of your aquarium. It can be other aquarium or certain glass container, for example, several cans. Count that on each small fish the necessary minimum of water has turned out at least, or organize strong aeration that they have not choked.
4. Depending on the sizes of the lodging of your pets place aquarian plants with them or in separate container with water. Put soil, stones, snags and jewelry separately. Wash out the repaired aquarium and dry.
5. Attentively examine seam through which water proceeded. If you find small bubble in adhesive layer, squeeze out a little silicone adhesive, cover bubble with the palette before the maximum filling of emptiness. If glue has lagged behind on the bigger length of seam, then it is worth separating this wall or bottom, having cut through glue edge of safety razor and having degreased, to paste anew.
6. After full drying of glue fill in aquarium with fresh water, in 3-5 days replace it, through the same time equip aquarium with soil, snags and plants, in a day or two start small fishes and other inhabitants.
7. In case the leak has appeared as a result of crack at the bottom, pour silicone in the form of grid of 5х5 cm on all area, put piece of glass of the same thickness, as bottom, but slightly smaller sizes. Fill in gaps with glue, after hardening do the same operations, as in step No. 3.
8. If the crack is found in one of vertical glasses, it is better to replace it with new. Usually it comes from flexure of too thin glass under water pressure therefore it is necessary to paste stiffening fins between the side planes and couplers between front and back glass at the upper edge that will exclude deformation under loading.
