Instruction
1. Remove old covering. Usually ceilings are painted with oil or water dispersive paints, bleached, sometimes pasted over with wall-paper – it is necessary to clean surface, to prepare it for further works regardless of which you are going to make covering. Wash away whitewashing water, and paint can be removed with special removers – apply structure on ceiling, and in half an hour remove it together with old covering. If your ceiling is struck with mold, then it is necessary to process in addition it antifungal means.
2. Close up the available seams cement solution with sand. Apply primer on surface to level ceiling and to prepare it under putty. Dissolve spackling powder with water to uniform state (use structure for damp surfaces), apply solution on primer and smear it on ceiling. For prevention of emergence of cracks paste directly on damp putty gauze or serpyanka which will play role of armoring lattice. Put the finishing layer of finishing, fine-grained putty to hide the slightest defects of surface.
3. After the ceiling dries, rub it small abrasive paper. Prepare paint (best of all to take water emulsion structure), mix with the painting additives (if you want color ceiling) and cover surface. Impose paint the wide roller or the spray – if you use import structure, then will be two layers enough. 4. If you have decided to whitewash ceiling, then dissolve cretaceous powder with water, add a little blue and by means of wide brush process ceiling.
