The sofa is integral part of furniture set in each dwelling. On it it is possible just to sit in front of the TV, and at night it turns into convenient berth. What to do if your favourite sofa which has got in inheritance from your parents has suddenly broken? And you have so got used to it. Any house handyman respecting himself, will try to repair him independently.

- Flat-nose pliers, wrenches of the different sizes, fresh foam rubber.
Instruction
1. Sort sofa to learn the cause of breakage. Turn off side parts of sofa by means of wrench of the corresponding size. Remove them and make sure of integrity of mechanisms which hold back and sitting of the sofa. In case of wear or breakage replace these mechanisms.
2. Remove sitting and back of sofa. It can be done, using also wrench of the necessary size. Separate back from the sitting and begin dismantling of these parts of sofa. Remove old cover which in most cases is fixed by bracket by means of the pneumostapler.
3. Remove the spring block from sofa framework for more convenient repair. Eliminate the broken springs on the block by their replacement. By means of flat-nose pliers unscrew them and on this place establish new spring, and correct the sunk springs, having stretched them hands. Install already ready block on the place and nail up it to framework.
4. Do the same and with sitting of sofa, but pay attention that springs of the sitting wear out much quicker therefore increase elasticity of your sofa. For this purpose you need the old foam rubber cut by small pieces and several layers of dense material, for example, old blankets. Densely fill the spring block foam rubber and cover with material. Fix all this by small nails. From above put new foam rubber and attach to framework the pneumostapler. Pull old, previously for cover. Fabric has to be tense evenly and strongly that it adjoined densely to all parts of sofa.
5. Put into place all mechanisms and connect all parts of sofa together. Here also repair of your old sofa is finished, but instead you have received almost new, and made your hands. Now it is possible to accept approving views of your relatives and friends.
