1. If you do not want to remove old coating layer of roof, approach with special gravity the choice of new roofing material. It is necessary to look at its compatibility with the old oxidized bituminous coating.
2. Pay attention on stekloelast which is the rolled directed roofing material on bituminous and polymeric basis. It differs in the increased elasticity and thermal insulation. Stekloelast it is suitable also for very complex repair of soft roof, it keeps within by means of blowpipe. Its flame goes directly to material. Polymeric basis and base layer of bitumen melt that provides uniform and impermeable finish.
3. Do not ignore and uniflex, technoelast and linokry. Repair soft roof by means of one of these materials, and the term of its operation can increase up to ten years.
4. Study the table of compatibility of the fixing mastics and roofing material. Take that which suits you taking into account that covering that you have chosen.
5. Perform preliminary examination and find all coating damages of roof. Cracks, swellings, gaps and holes circle with chalk not to lose.
6. For prevention of accumulation of water pour it on roof and note borders of pools. Dry up roof and cover the allocated sites with additional coating layer of rolled or fill in with hot bitumen.
7. Invite the workmate for more effective work. One person will warm material by means of torch, and the second follows it and rolls roll in process of its warming up. If to do it alone, developing roll by means of the bent armature or nail-catcher, it is possible to allow material distortion. It is necessary to redo all work.
8. Strew roof with special structure which will protect it from aggressive influence of the external environment.
