1. In modern electric kettles electric heaters of tubular type are most often used. The ends of the heater are brought to the block placed on side face of the body of teapot. Certainly, types of heating coils can differ from each other.
2. First of all, it is necessary to remember that electric devices for heating and boiling of water cannot be turned on in network without this water. Violation of this rule inevitably leads to burn-out of heating coil and breakage of the body of teapot.
3. It is quite often possible to observe how the hostess fills in water in the empty teapot which is already included in current network. It is not recommended to do it also categorically. At first fill in in teapot water, and, that quantity which is required. Practically all teapots have the scale specifying the minimum and maximum admissible amount of water on the body. Non-compliance with these norms can put teapot out of action over time.
4. The feature of heating coil is that at frequent use of the water containing set of microelements, traditional for our water system, it needs periodically to be cleaned from scum. You carry out cleaning of heating coil by means of the chemical reagents which are specially intended for this purpose. It is impossible to clean off scum by scraping, it will lead to damage of the electric device.
5. If your suddenly refused teapot was operated correctly and has no visible traces of malfunctions on the body or heating coil, then the possible cause of breakage can consist in wire breakage of electric cord.
6. Disconnect teapot from network and check serviceability of electrical connection between cord fork conclusions. The place of probable break can be found, using tester. Such fault is eliminated by restoration of electrical connection or replacement of cord by serviceable.
7. If breakage is directly connected with failure of heating coil, it is not necessary to try to make repairs independently. For this purpose certain qualification is required. Consider that carelessly executed repair of the electric device can turn back big and expensive troubles. For elimination of serious breakages it is necessary to carry teapot in the service center.
