Instruction
1. Examine the closer regarding external damages, check its fastenings. Tighten mounting screws if they have become loose. And it happens quite often at heavy load on the mechanism.
2. Examine door. It should not have dents, to be equal, not to have distortions. Otherwise the closer will normally not work.
3. Check adjusting gears of the closer which are responsible for the speed of closing of door, the spring force, prevention of plowing-up of door up to the end, the speed of operational development of door, etc. The corresponding screws should be absent as it can lead to leak of oil, corrosion or breakage of inner spring. If it after all has occurred, it is necessary to buy the new closer.
4. Instead of damaging the closer, enclosing under doors of stick and bricks when opened needs to take door, it is better to buy the closer at once with the option hold-open which can fix door in open position. The angle of opening of door can be regulated independently by means of the special mechanism.
