1. Get acquainted with the device and operation principle of the welding inverter. Its first necessary component – the rectifier, transforming alternating voltage to direct current. 2. Uncover the body of the inverter and blow it the normal household vacuum cleaner. Then clean hard-to-reach spots with dry soft brush.

3. Begin repair with check of entrance chain. Check whether power supply in the device moves. In the presence of input voltage examine the block of short circuit protection. If necessary replace the failed safety element.

4. Check the temperature sensor and control system of power voltage. Verify the measured values with those which are specified in the application guide. In case of fault of the temperature recorder make its replacement.

5. Examine operating parts of the device. At detection of visible signs of bad soldering or darkening of mounting check the corresponding chains of the inverter tester. 6. In case of sticking of electrode, unstable burning of arch or spraying pick up electrodes. Adjust current. Check also the section and cable length of the inverter, having compared them to data from technical documentation. In the presence of divergences replace cable.
