1. It is desirable to begin preparation of tree for change in year. At the end of fall or early in the spring, depending on when you are going to replace tree, dig out around it groove so that around plant there was earth lump with which it will be moved on the new place.
2. Trees with diameter of trunk of four-five centimeters will require earth lump with the party about eighty centimeters. Leave to trees with trunk with a diameter from eight to twelve centimeters lump with the party hundred twenty centimeters. Height of lump depends on that, roots how deeply lie, but there should not be less than sixty centimeters.
3. Chop the roots which are going beyond earth lump, straighten cuts and cover them with the garden thief. Fill up groove with mix from equal parts of the garden earth, the rerotting manure and peat. If you prepare tree for spring change, do not allow earth lump to dry up in the summer.
4. In two weeks prior to change dig out landing hole. Its size has to be one and a half times more than the size of earth lump. On bottom of hole fill layer of the nutritious soil.
5. The replaced tree will sustain less damage if keeps on the new place former situation concerning parts of the world. Before you begin to take earth lump from hole, bind bright marker on one of the branches turned on the South. It will allow you to place tree correctly.
6. On groove perimeter with nutritious mix dig out new so that one of its walls was flat. It will be required to take tree from hole. Bring several poles under earth lump and chop the roots directed vertically down. Palm off the sheet of tin or plywood under lump and pull out tree from hole.
