Eukharis replace not more often than once in 3-4 years. The plant endures violation of earth lump and damage of roots painfully, but over time pot in which it grows, becomes literally filled by bulbs. Because of lack of power supply and the area eukharis can die.
Instruction
1. Recommend to carry out change in March, to dormant period. Accurately loosen earth lump and straighten roots, their most confused parts can be washed with water. Bulbs land on depth of 2-3 cm then well stamp the earth around them. If on bulbs there are no leaves, it is possible to put them so that the top remained over the soil that will allow to watch the beginning of growth.
2. Substrate is prepared from the sheet earth, compost, coarse-grained sand or other baking powder. Sometimes mix is made of the heather, cespitose and deciduous earth with sand addition. If desired the heather earth can be replaced peat. For eukharis the soil is prepared damp, but not rehumidified.
3. To grow up magnificent copy of plant with large number of leaves, it is necessary to use for landing wide capacity with several opening in day. On bottom it is necessary to fill thick layer of drainage from crocks or haydite if not to make it, bulbs of eukharis can decay from stagnation of water.
4. In one capacity plant 3-5 bulbs, group landing is indispensable condition of abundant blossoming. If to transplant bulbs one by one, they will not blossom until breed in enough. Eukharis blossoms better if the pot for it is chosen close.
5. After change it is necessary to water very carefully eukharis within 2-3 weeks when the surface of the soil dries up. If the plant has leaves, them it is necessary is regularly abundant to spray. Approximately in month after disembarkation from bulb the top of new leaves will appear.
6. Watering has to be moderate, it is impossible to allow overwettings or overdryings of the soil. For watering use soft otstoyanny water. During growth of plant substrate needs to be supported by more damp, than at others bulbous, after blossoming it should be stopped.
7. Best of all eukharis grows in well lit places, however he not bad transfers lack of light. At the same time the midday sun is contraindicated to it therefore it is the best of all to leave plant at the western or east window.
8. Eukharis it is possible to take out on open air during the warm period, it is only necessary to take care of protection against direct sunshine and precipitation. It is impossible to leave plant on the street during cool nights, especially at the first autumn frosts. Recommend to pull small piece of polyethylene film, having created small hotbed around eukharis.
