Yucca – sort of the evergreen plants relating to family agavovy. In nature these plants easily transfer bright light, low air humidity and soils. If soil in which the yucca grows in house conditions pereuvlazhnen, roots can decay and the plant will need urgent change. The healthy yucca is replaced, depending on age, once a year or three years.

Instruction
1. Suitable time for change of yucca – spring or summer. Roots of this plant differ in fragility therefore it is better to pass healthy yucca which the pot became small but not to replace. In two days prior to transfer the flower needs to be watered well.
2. Put plant together with pot on the sheet of the newspaper and, tapping with pot on each side, separate from it earth lump. Take flower from pot and accurately take out old drainage from earth lump. As a rule, by the time of change it is braided by the expanded roots. Rake up the top soil from lump.
3. Prepare new pot which diameter is two-three centimeters more than previous. On bottom of capacity put layer of haydite, fine gravel or ceramic drainage. For the yucca which is painfully responding on stagnation of water in pot, the drainage is especially important. Thickness of its layer has to be about a third of height of pot.
4. Mix soil. The young plant will require about two parts of sand, the sheet, cespitose earth and one part of the humous earth. The soil to which replace adult yucca consists of two parts of the sheet earth and sand mixed with three parts of the cespitose earth.
5. Put a little soil over drainage and put plant in pot. Accurately fill the prepared soil mix between earth lump and walls of pot, slightly trampling down soil. After transfer the yucca does not need to be watered.
6. Plants with the begun to rot roots can be saved, having exempted them from residues of old soil, having cut off rotten roots and having powdered cuts with wood charcoal. Dry roots and plant plant in new soil mix. In two days it is worth watering plant with Epina-ekstra solution.
