The gasoline pump is one of the most significant parts of the car. Usually, the gasoline pump has very reliable design but sometimes, after all, there is need for its replacement. Will help to replace gasoline pump to you in any car service but, if necessary, this procedure can quite be conducted independently. As, because of difference in design, the scheme of replacement of the pump on cars of different brands can differ, most reasonable to consider it on the example of specific model. - key for removal of terminals, key on 17, graggers with head on 7 and on 10, the cross screw-driver, new knot with gasoline pump and the sensor of level of gasoline
Instruction
1. Merge gasoline. It is recommended to leave no more than 10 liters of gasoline in gasoline tank.
2. Release trunk.
3. Remove carpet.
4. Remove back seat of the car. For this purpose, remove stubs and, by means of graggers, turn off bolts.
5. Raise the free edge of noise isolation which is under sitting.
6. Turn off, by means of the cross screw-driver, bolts of the cover closing the fuel pump.
7. Uncover. Directly under cover there is upper part of the module of gasoline pump. The module is submerged in gasoline tank and pressed on all perimeter by means of nuts and ring. Supply leads of gasoline pump and the sensor of level of gasoline are attached to it.
8. Purify dirt and dust about clamping ring to exclude its hit in gasoline tank.
9. Disconnect wires from the module.
10. Start the car to dump pressure in fuel pipe.
11. Switch-off the accumulator.
12. Turn off fuel pipe pipes, using key on 17 and remove them aside.
13. Turn off nuts on perimeter of clamping ring, using graggers and head on 7.
14. Remove clamping ring.
15. Take out the gasoline pump module from gasoline tank.
16. Accurately merge fuel in gasoline tank.
17. Take the new module of gasoline pump.
18. Insert the module into tank opening. It is necessary to begin with gasoline level sensor float.
19. Put on clamping ring. For this purpose slightly press on the module and fix bolts by nuts to hold ring.
20. Make sure that at this provision of gasoline pump, it will be possible to insert and fix fuel pipe tubes.
21. Tighten, in turn, nuts of clamping ring.
22. Insert and twirl fuel pipe tubes.
23. Attach wires.
24. Connect the accumulator and start the car.
25. Make sure that fuel does not flow from connections.
26. Close cover.
27. Return back seat to starting position.
