It is the best of all to replace pear or some other tree in the winter. It is connected with the fact that you dig out plant together with piece of the frozen earth, and it favorably influences tree during change, helps it easier to transfer stress. It is also possible to begin change since spring, but it is necessary to prepare tree in two years.
It is required to you
- - shovel;
- - loop from metal wire;
- - mulch.
Instruction
1. To replace tree in the winter, dig out hole by the size slightly more earth lump. Fill fertile mix in this hole.
2. Prepare pear for change: for this purpose dig out trench on krone borders (depth no more than 1 m). Pull out tree.
3. Chop thick roots, cut lower. Use the loop made of metal wire for undercutting.
4. Plant tree then to promulchiruyta zone where roots, are located friable substrate: it can be humus or peat. It will protect pear from drying and low temperatures.
5. Use more available way for change of pear. Prepare pear: around tree dig out groove, but unlike the last way, make it in the early spring, kidneys for the present were not dismissed.
6. Fill hole with fertile friable soil. Water. Be not afraid that because chop off side roots when digging hole, the tree will cease to grow. It's not true, it will only reduce growth rate, and will develop at the expense of untouched vertical roots. During the season on tips of vertical roots the young lobe will be created. It will help pear to transfer change.
7. One more way of change. On time it will take two years. Cut half of roots in the first year, in the second year – the remained roots. Do change in the early spring. From outer end of the dug-out ditch pull out tree. So what do you do not damage the appeared young backs.
8. Cut the lower roots.
9. Whatever you have used way of change, at the end of the procedure cover roots with earth and do not forget it is abundant to water. Fill emptiness which have appeared after watering. Obligatory for promulchiruyta from above. If there is need, then strengthen tree special extensions between the trunk and stakes which are strongly hammered deeply into the earth.
