Instruction
1. Before starting replacement of ring, get acquainted with the existing their versions. Distinguish spiral, continuous, halogen and ceramic rings.
2. Choosing replacement, consider that spiral rings are very similar to heating coils in electric kettles (they can be unary and double). The second name of continuous rings – blinovy (differ from other models in continuous flat surface).
3. If you have glass-ceramic cooking surface, then you will suit halogen models. In such rings the round or direct heating coils are grouped under smooth glass cooking surface (they resemble the floodlight lamps intended for lighting superficially). The heating coil of ceramic surface is executed from the wire spiral laid to the canal, similar to labyrinth.
4. Before starting replacement of ring, deenergize electric stove. After that disconnect from old faulty ring of wire with the springing tips. Attach to wires small pieces of paper where specify detailed information on what of them from where has been disconnected.
5. To disconnect faulty ring, turn off the nut fixing ground wire, and nut which presses bracket. Remove bracket from the pin, holding at the same time ring with hand. Measure diameter of the removed part. Knowing value of this indicator, it will be easier for you to pick up new ring for electric stove.
6. Establish new ring on the place allocated to it. Slightly open cover of the body of electric stove to which hands press the mounted part. Continuing to hold ring, put on brackets the acting pin. Record ring. Attach earth wire.
7. Check whether the new ring is correctly established. If suddenly it is found out that it is a little displaced aside, surely correct it then fix the bolts holding electric stove cover.
8. Test operability of the electric stove with new ring.
