Often it happens so that gardeners get new shanks of roses late fall when selectors have carried out cutting of maternal bushes. It is obvious that truly it is difficult to plan landing of new plants in the garden which is already removed for the winter, and therefore gardeners trench in shanks to replace them in the spring.
Instruction
1. It is desirable to replace roses according to the first leaf. As a rule, the first sheet appears in one or one and a half weeks after dredging of bush the winter shelter (needles, sawdust, fir twigs and so forth).
2. Prepare plants for change. If cutting has not been carried out in the fall, make it now, having left 20 cm on each adult escape above the first kidney. Remove all died-off parts, dry leaf.
3. It is necessary to dig out bush pitchfork, the risk strongly is shovel to damage rhizome, especially if it is about kornesobstvenny roses and hybrids. Do not shake off the earth at all, the lump from the former place needs to be transferred to new even if you consider that soil was not suitable for growth of roses.
4. Before dredging of roses prepare the place for landing: dig out hole diameter, big, than rose rhizome. Pour 0.5 buckets of humus, 1 bucket of sand and 1 bucket of peat into each hole. It is obvious that holes have to be very capacious. Spill mix water bucket.
5. Place the dug-out rosebushes in the prepared holes. Around rhizome with earth lump from the former place scatter glass of ashes and glass of bone meal. Then press rose a little and cover with earth roots.
6. It is desirable to replace rose in rainy, cloudy spring day or in the evening. Bushes you should not disturb the next to steam of days, they will begin to be ill. In two days the soil needs to be prorykhlit and humidified. In week of rose it will be necessary to hill and introduce mineral and organic fertilizers to the soil. Their structure will depend on type of roses.
7. If you replace pletisty roses, bury root neck at 10-15 cm. Do not forget to establish props and protections in order that quickly to lift lashes from the earth. Standard roses need sharp angle of inclination, otherwise they will inevitably break under winter snow. From the windward side surely establish prop. The roses which are taken out from greenhouses before landing in soil need to be processed to (sprysnut) solution of copper vitriol and day before landing to take on air.
