The yucca is evergreen and having linear prickly the sharpened leaves plant of family agavovy which homeland is North America. Leaves of plant are collected in the ornamental socket located on the end of trunk. The yucca very much resembles dragon tree with green leaflets superficially, but relationship between them any is not observed though both plants are hardy and not especially whimsical. Before dealing with issue of change we will sort condition of keeping and watering of yucca.
Instruction
1. Optimum temperature at which the plant will feel comfortable is 20-25os in the spring-in the summer and 10 wasps at rest in winter time. It is necessary to protect yucca during cold weather from drafts and overcoolings. Quite often leads of sharp fall of temperature to death of plant.
2. How often to water yucca? Here everything depends on the size, pot material, on the size of plant, temperature, air humidity and features of substrate. In the spring-summer the yucca should be watered it is abundant, but only after drying of top soil on depth of 5 cm. In the conditions of the moderate temperature of contents (18-20os) to large copy one watering a week suffices. Conduct calculation from the fact that on 10 liters of the soil 2-2.5 liters of water of room temperature for time it are required (water has to be defended). In the summer during heat the yucca needs to be watered more often, but it is impossible to forget that between waterings the soil in pot has to manage to dry up. In the winter watering needs to be reduced that from stagnation of water the roots did not decay.

4. It is desirable to keep as much as possible earth lump around roots at change of plant. Therefore we recommend to make transfer, but not replacing of healthy plant. If roots of yucca have begun to decay from excessive watering, the plant will need unplanned change. The decayed or rotting roots become very soft and are easily crushed by fingers. It is necessary to get rid of these roots exuding characteristic putrid smell at change.
