Buying household appliances, each person hopes that it will serve to him for many years. But so occurs not always – quite often in the equipment right after purchase there are defects and malfunctions, and the owner tries to return the broken goods to shop. Sometimes the staff of shop meets requirements of the buyer and changes faulty goods for new, but happens so that in shop refuse to accept goods back. What to do if you have bought the washing machine, but it has broken before the termination of warranty period, and you want to return it?
1. First of all, you have to know what goods are not subject to return and exchange - it are household devices, the photoequipment, phones, musical instruments and other similar equipment in which there are no malfunctions. If the washing machine has no shortcomings and meets all requirements of quality, you cannot return it to change for model of other firm or other color.
2. If in the washing machine serious technical shortcomings have been noticed, you can return it or exchange for similar goods. The serious technical shortcoming is understood as the ineradicable breakage demanding expensive repair and interfering normal use of the washing machine.
3. If the goods function, but nevertheless, have small shortcoming (for example, too noisy washing) which is not pleasant to you, you can take goods to warranty repair, and in this case return of goods to shop will be impossible. You can return the machine back to shop only if it does not perform the functions on failure cause at all.
4. Besides technical defects, in the equipment also physical defects meet. You have to check such defects carefully directly in shop, after purchase of the washing machine and signing of papers. If at the machine there are chips and dents, to you will change it, but if you notice defects already at home, then to prove that they did not become consequence of unsuccessful operation of the machine, it will not be possible.
5. If the staff of shop refuses to accept faulty goods back, you can show them the list legislatively allowed for exchange and return of goods and also to reason legislatively the desire to receive money for faulty goods if you do not accept exchange of the washing machine for model, similar at cost.
6. Try not to lose documents for purchase of household appliances – if you have no check or the warrant confirming the fact of purchase of the washing machine in this shop you can meet difficulties in return of goods.
