1. Warm floor and walls. It is possible to make it by means of special heat-insulating panels.
2. Establish triple-pane glasses. By experts it is counted that installation of plastic windows with hermetic double-glazed windows allows to save about 50% of heat indoors.
3. If you have no opportunity to establish new double-glazed windows, it is necessary to replace the cracked glasses in old windows and to accurately close up all slots. It is possible to eliminate slots by means of various heaters. Heaters represent profile laying from rubber, polyurethane foam or PVC. Heaters are both self-adhesive, and demanding additional putting glue. The second option is recommended to be used together with glue-sealant. If you could not buy heaters, then use the old checked method - put pieces of foam rubber and cotton wool in slot. From above stick with painting adhesive tape.
4. Carefully close up all slots between floor, walls and ceiling. For these purposes it is possible to use special sealants. They not only will help to keep heat, but also will prevent emergence of fungal mold.
5. Paint batteries dark color. Before coloring of the battery it is necessary to remove from it old paint since the thick coat of paint can negatively affect heat emission. The dark smooth surface will radiate at 6-8% of heat more.
6. Install the heatreflecting screens behind batteries. As the screen it is possible to use the veneer sheet painted by silver ink or which is pasted over with foil. Do not close the battery curtains not to interfere with streams of warm air. At opportunity install batteries with heatregulators.
7. Establish heater on perimeter of outer door. For heat preservation in the apartment it is recommended to establish pairs of doors. The external metal door will ensure safety to your housing, and the inside door from plastic will help to keep heat.
8. Glaze and warm balcony or loggia. If you have no opportunity to glaze balcony, it is necessary to warm balcony door carefully.
9. You do not hold window leaf constantly open. It is necessary to air rooms intensively, but not long. It is recommended to open widely all windows indoors for a short time.
