The circular saw is the irreplaceable tool in the carpenter's arsenal on construction site. It can be used for various purposes. By means of circular saw cut out pieces of plywood or tree of the exact sizes, including figures of very irregular shapes. This tool can be used in any work on woodworking.

1. Before using circular saw it is necessary to know what they are. For example, circular saws from 6 are used by inch disks for cutting of timber in construction business, also apply them to cutting of plywood and composite materials. Saws with blade circle diameter of 8 - 10 inches are generally used commercially for cutting of logs, they have the big weight and rather big sizes. I exist also saws from 5 inch disks, they have edges with very small teeths, such models can work both from alternating current, and from storage batteries.
2. Study functionality of circular saw and learn to adjust it. The majority of circular saws can be regulated on disk inclination that allows to carry out slanted cuts, and on disk driving depth, it gives the chance to carry out cuts of the required depth. Circular saws, as a rule, are equipped with special guides which allow to do parallel cuts along the edge of material. When choosing the tool it is also worth paying attention to availability of the protection cover. It allows to secure the person against the cutting parts.
3. Correctly choose types of edges for performance of specific work. For example, if you use saw for processing of strong breeds of tree, disks about carbide - tungsten tip will be necessary for you. Pay at the same time attention to type edge. Edges with small amount of teeths are used for rough processing, and edges with quantity of teeths from 40 and above give accurater cuts. For cutting of metal sheets (galvanization, copper, aluminum, etc.) edges from specially tempered alloys are used. They have very thin teeths from carbon steel and well are suitable for work with such materials.
4. For material cutting find circular saw the surface suitable for this purpose. The edge of saw should not adjoin to anything, except the material. Usually for these purposes special racks are used, they can also be made independently.
5. Before starting cutting, execute all required measurements and apply the corresponding tags on material. Choose edge, suitable for work performance. Compare the edge size with what you need to make, too large edge can strengthen return of saw.
6. Establish saw on the cut surface and combine edge with nacherchenny contour. As a rule, the edge of saw is opened on the right side, it allows to control correctness of cutting. If you saw long surface, for control of cutting it is possible to use the special guides of dredging located directly before edge. You watch that this dredging always followed your contour.
7. Include saw and begin to cut. You do not take eyes from contour before edge not to make mistake. You hold saw strong, press it to the cut surface rather densely, but not so that the saw lost work speed, the disk of saw has to pass through material with the minimum resistance.
8. Having finished cutting, make sure that the protection cover is returned to starting position. In the course of work it can be littered with sawdust that hinders its movement.
