For production of furniture in the conditions of house workshop the laminated wood-shaving plate is often used. Being made of coniferous and deciduous breeds of trees, laminated chipboard has irreplaceable qualities, including durability and ease in processing. The main lack of the laminated plate is that to inaccurate cutting material chips are possible. Correctly to saw laminated chipboard, it is necessary to follow number of rules.
It is required to you
- - tape measure or measuring ruler;
- - pencil;
- - hacksaw with small tooth;
- - electrofret saw;
- - circular saw;
- - painting tape or adhesive tape.
Instruction
1. Choose type of cut which you will use when processing of the laminated wood-shaving plate. The rectilinear cut is used for cutting the rectangular figures applied in furniture production. Some parts of design furniture demand curvilinear cutting. Also the mixed way of cut of wood-shaving plate is possible.
2. Prepare tools, necessary for trimming of wood-shaving plate. You need saw with small tooth or the electrofret saw. For cut it is possible to use also circular saw if teeth of disk have the suitable size. To protect the laminated covering from damages when cutting material, prepare painting tape or adhesive tape. The ruler and well edged pencil are necessary for marking of preparations.
3. Make leaf marking according to requirements to finished product. Note pencil or marker from faces of plate of point of expected cut.
4. For protection of plate against chips paste to the place of future cut painting tape, adhesive tape or other tape with the gluing layer. Laminated by chipboard it is revetted with melamine film and varnish which is applied at high temperature and pressure. The tape will protect edges of cut from edge fins and chips.
5. After sticker of protective tape connect among themselves pencil of point of preliminary marking.
6. Starting cut of laminated chipboard, you hold hacksaw at an acute angle to plate surface to make edges as much as possible equal. Do not try to press strongly on the tool, movements have to be rhythmical and easy.
7. If after cut of edge have turned out equal, the product does not demand additional treatment of edges. At detection of roughnesses process them file or rasp. Paste over plate faces which have turned out as a result of cut with interline interval under color of surface of plate to give to all product additional protection and attractive look.
