You have installed the new electric meter by own efforts and enjoy its correct work. But if not to notify on it housing-and-municipal services, not to avoid penalties. Quietly to take of the meter reading and to pay them, it is necessary to seal the electric meter.
Instruction
1. Do not throw out the old counter until the electrician from housing-and-municipal service does not rewrite its serial number and will not record the indication of electricity consumption at the time of its dismantling. It is not obligatory to keep old seals, but better leave them – suddenly the choosy electrician will get to you.
2. Address to housing-and-municipal service to which your house is assigned. If you do not know where to address, specify the address of service in city help, having called the area, the street and house number. Take the receipt on fee on sealing of the electric meter in accounts departments of housing-and-municipal service and pay this service in the nearest Sberbank branch.
3. Return to ZhEU and show the paid receipt to the duty dispatcher. After check of marks of bank about payment the dispatcher will fix day and time of the direction to your address of the specialist of housing-and-municipal service (electrician) and will issue the act which the electrician will have to fill out on the place at survey and sealing of the counter.
4. Wait for visit of the electrician, you see off it to the new counter, show the old electric meter. Installation of new seals does not take a lot of time, wait until the master performs the work. Transfer it the act received in housing-and-municipal service. Make sure that the electrician has correctly written down all data in the act (the serial number of the old and new counter, the last indications on the old counter and the current value on new).
5. With the completed act address again to housing-and-municipal service that authorized persons have certified the drawn-up statement of sealing of the electric meter and the organizations have set the seal. Departments can be called differently, but usually the signature is appended by the chief engineer of service, and the press – accounts department or office.
6. With the certified act address to uniform payment processing center, wait until experts make recalculation and will register new indications of the electric meter. After that pay the consumed electric power already for indications of the new electric meter.
