How to seat grapes

In southern latitudes many gardeners are fond of cultivation of grapes. This occupation demands certain knowledge in the field of the correct seating of grapevine and the correct care for seedling. The quality and quantity of harvest and also health of your vineyard depends on it.

Instruction

1. Try to seat grapevines ranks at distance of two meters from each other, and between ranks the interval has to be three meters. Such option of seating will be acceptable if you at the order have good source of water, for example, reservoir near the site. Thus, if you want to set with grapes 4000 square meters, at such calculation of space you will be able to put about 650 grapevines. Closely to each other land only those vineyards which should grow in conditions of especially cold and extreme environment.

2. If you land grapes in the hot area in which it is not always possible to find water source, put one grapevine on 9 square meters if you expect to receive full-fledged harvest. For areas in which moistening of the soil and the atmosphere is optimum it is enough to observe distance in two and a half meters between ranks and between rods in ranks. Always provide enough power supply to roots of vineyards which receive less water and nutrients.

3. You can calculate the size of the vineyard, proceeding from amount of grapes which the adult rod when harvesting gives. If the rod gives not less than two-three kilograms of grapes, transplant rods at distance of 1.8 m from each other. In other cases do not reduce distance between ranks and do not do its less than three meters that each rod received enough nutrients. Depending on the area of the parcel, define what form will be got by your vineyard at similar disembarkation.
