Time of crops of seeds
From emergence of shoots before forming of flower buds the eustoma needs 5-6 months. Therefore, if desired to have flowers in June it is necessary to sow seeds at the end of January. At cultivation of eustoma as pottery plant in rooms, for registration of loggia, balcony the crops can be carried out and much earlier. In the latter case preference is given to hybrids undersized, with compact form.
Crops conditions
The composition of soil mix has to be friable, moisture capacious with acidity close to neutral, 6.5 pH. It is possible to use peat or coconut tablets. It is possible to put 2-3 sunflower seeds in one tablet. Soil temperature 22-25os. The soil should be disinfected from fungal infection. It has to be damp, but not wet.
Seeds, as a rule, pellety, display on the surface of the soil, without powdering. Then they are sprayed from spray and covered with transparent film in which do openings of 2...3 mm for air exchange. Between film and the soil there has to be distance not less than 1.5 cm. Seeds need lighting - it is indispensable condition.
At observance of temperature condition the first shoots appear from the earth for 10...12 day. The film is gradually slightly opened, then removed, accustoming rastishka to room climate.
Conditions of care for seedlings
Not to stimulate pulling, shoots can be subjected to the round-the-clock lighting during 2... 3 days. Further highlight seedling during not less than 12... 13 hours daily.
When drying the top soil layer, carefully on droplets carry out watering between seedlings.
After disclosure of cotyledonous leaves for the fastest formation of root system the moderate watering is recommended. It needs to be seen off in the morning. At night leaves have to be dry. At night temperature it is necessary to hold 18...20 wasps.
Until emergence of the first real leaves of fertilizing do not carry out. Eustoma seedling negatively reacts to salinity of soil. Therefore, fertilizing brings in small concentration.
Eustoma seedlings at emergence dive 2-3 presents of leaf. At later sword-play the seedlings take root worse as the core back is injured.
