Easy and cheap way to change exterior of the old door is to upholster it with leatherette. This material can be used as from external, and from the inside. Instruction
1. Remove door from loops and establish in horizontal position. It is possible to use two chairs. Remove the handle from door and all speakers elements. Cut out panel from the available leatherette more door longwise on 2 cm and on width on 10 cm. Cut out three strips of which further we will manufacture rollers from the remained material. Length of one strip has to correspond to door height, and two others its width. Width of strips will depend on clearance height between door and door case. Distance it can fluctuate from 8-14 cm.
2. Impose the found strips on edge of door face side down. Recede from edge of 1.5 cm and beat normal nails. Twist rollers with a diameter of 3 cm from batting, put on the beaten strips. Pulling material, wrap vatinovy rollers and beat to door so that the formed roller half was given over door edge.
3. On the plane of door spread batting. From above impose leatherette so that the panel had stock of 6-8 cm from that party of door where it is suspended on loops. Tuck leatherette and beat furniture nails at distance 8-10 cm from each other. In the last turn leatherette from hinge plates is beaten. Beat leatherette cloth in the center so that not batting did not move.
4. Install into place the handle and hang door. At hinged edge of door beat protruding edge of panel of leatherette furniture nails to platband.
