Sometimes happens it is necessary to silver in house conditions any ornament or subject from copper. It is rather simple to make it, and the structure for silvering can be prepared independently or to buy in shop ready paste for silvering.
It is required to you
- - number of chemicals, depending on what paste for silvering you decide to prepare;
- - piece of soft fabric or leather for putting paste;
- - flannel for polish of the silvered subject;
- - rubber gloves.
Instruction
1. To silver copper subject, it is possible to apply paste to silvering. There are several recipes for such paste. The first recipe: To take 6 g of chloride silver, 8 g of chloride sodium (table salt), 8 g of wine stone. To pound all this in mortar. The received powder to part the distilled water to consistence of liquid paste. To apply paste on soft fabric or on rag of soft skin and to rub with it copper subject. When as a result of rubbing the part gains silver gloss, it needs to be washed out in water and to polish with piece of flannel.
2. The second recipe: To take 4 g of wine stone, 2 g of sal ammoniac, 1 g of nitrate silver. To mix, dilute with the distilled water to consistence of liquid paste. As well as in the previous recipe to rub with paste copper subject by means of piece of fabric or leather before emergence of silver gloss.
3. The third recipe: To take ready paste for silvering of copper and its alloys which can be got in shop. It is applied similar to two previous recipes.
4. The fourth recipe: To take 3 g of chloride silver, 8 g of table salt, 8 g of tartrate potassium, 4 g of chalk. To mix, istoloch in mortar. On damp piece of fabric to fill the dry received powder and to rub copper part, constantly pouring mix of reactants and moistening fabric as required.
