Often in the course of repair it is required to connect rugged, for example, metal constructions. In such situations blowpipes come to the rescue. They allow to solder practically all materials for which there is enough melting temperature in 1000 - 1200 degrees.

Instruction

1. Qualitatively to solder blowpipe, it is necessary to degrease those parts of objects which need to be connected, and if necessary - to remove rust by means of abrasive paper.

2. Wash out and dry the processed product, apply gumboil on the joined surfaces.

3. Before soldering it is necessary to fix strongly and conveniently product because during the work with blowpipe and solder both hands will be occupied, and it will be inconvenient to move it.

4. Include torch. For this purpose it is necessary to turn the corresponding regulator - the whistling gas discharge sound outside will be heard. It will be more correct to light previously match or the lighter - so the consumption of gas will be smaller.

5. Adjust flame stream. For this purpose after ignition of torch twist the gas feed adjuster clockwise for increase in flame and against - for its reduction.

6. Stream of flame warm the place demanding soldering. For this purpose, constantly controlling torch size, it is necessary to move evenly blowpipe on seam. Pay attention, the flame has to have the dark center, and its external aura to be bright and with accurate contours. The most high temperature will be in flame kernel, but usually during the work use zone outside of torch - big temperatures, as a rule, are not required.

7. After the torch warms up the place of soldering, and its temperature will correspond to solder melting temperature, bring the end of bar of solder which is covered with gumboil to seam. It under the influence of high temperatures has to melt and fill with itself(himself) seam.

8. If, then in the beginning, having mixed it with gumboil, mix apply solder in the form of powder on surfaces which will need to be soldered. In this case adjust blowpipe flame so that it was not directionally into place with solder. Otherwise it can prematurely be oxidized and melt.
