Flowers are the real decoration of garden. They are always pleasing to the eye, give inspiration and love. Some of them really demand a lot of work, in the course of cultivation there are many nuances.

1. Preseeding processing of seeds. Before crops it is accepted to ret not only seeds of vegetables, but also and flowers. Do it in flat dish or in saucer with water. It will bring him out of condition of rest. So, take two small leaves of abrasive paper and put seed between them. Then with effort rub them. It will cause damage of cover. Also it can disappear absolutely. With the same purpose use processing by hot water. At small amount of seeds the water temperature has to be about +65 °C. And if there is a lot of seeds, then admissible temperature is +85 °C. Seeds remain in the cooling-down water for day. Consider that the cover of seed has to disappear, but the seed at the same time should not will cook. Water has to hide only slightly seeds as it is impossible to block air access. Soaking in hot water especially well helps to sprout to verbena seeds.
3. Now start crops of seeds. Early spring (February, March) - the most suitable period for seedling. In soil the seeds land not earlier than April-May depending on weather patterns. For crops use boxes, ceramic pots, special disposable tanks. A day before crops well spill the earth water. Compost with addition of sand and peat is suitable for cultivation. Fill up so much earth that to top of capacity there was 1 cm. For landing make grooves ruler and seed seeds in these grooves. Or just scatter seeds on surface if they are very small. As a rule, it is lobelia, ageratum, begonia, portulak, petunia. It is possible to mix them a little with sand, but do not cover with earth. Usually fill up with earth layer only large seeds. Cover flat dish with crops with glass and place in plastic bag.
4. At one-year flower cultures the shoots arise in 10-14 days. Most quicker flowers of family of cruciferae family give shoots. And here ipomeya, the toadflax, phlox, koreopsis, verbena and others sprout long. This process is often influenced by temperature. Thermophilic plants very much are afraid of cold. Lighting plays not so important role. Surely periodically air crops of seeds. As soon as there are sprouts, put pot on light. Raise glass or polyethylene, and in several days remove at all. Water shoots not often as the modulation is dangerous by emergence of black leg. And it is very difficult to fight against it. Keep in mind that almost all grades of one-year cultures blossom in 80-100 days after shoots. Therefore flower growers often sow flowers in soil at once. Use seedling method in case with very small seeds or in case of small amount of seeds.
