Paved paths can become original decoration of the garden site or court yard of your country house, but only under one condition – if they are laid out with observance of all requirements in combination with accuracy. By the way, all this with success can be made independently.

Instruction

1. Recently the tile stone blocks of the most various forms enjoys wide popularity. But for a start it is possible to stop the choice on rectangular tile of 20х10 cm in size. There are several schemes of its laying – "fir-tree", "column" or "brickwork".

2. After you have planned the location and the size of future path, can start preparation of the basis. Usually it is concrete-sand or crushed-stone depending on tile type. In the beginning the turf on depth about 15 cm together with the remains of roots, seeds and garbage is removed. If you have got clayey ground, then surely make drainage. The dug-out trench should be stamped well.

3. In the absence of the necessary equipment it is possible to use old reliable tool – short log with the handle beaten to it from face. For geometrical paths prepare grooves for onboard stone or border. After the basis of ditch is stamped fill up it with five-centimetric layer of sand and establish onboard stone on concrete pad. The trench bottom is also filled in with small amount of concrete on which the stone keeps within. For charge of trench use crushed stone of 5-20 mm in size layer to 20 cm then fill in all surface with water and stamp.

4. Stack paving slabs on hand-pitched stone subbase and stamp by means of the vibrating plate, and in its absence – wooden or rubber mall. When forming profile of path do not forget to do small bias from the center to roadsides, for water drain.

5. Upon termination of laying on all surface of path evenly scatter the dry mix consisting of cement and sand that it has filled all intervals between tiles. Then carefully sweep out path surface brush and water so that it has flowed into slots. It will lead to mix hardening after a while.
