Many remember the Soviet mode on raincoats from Bologna – kapron fabric with specialized watertight coating. Today products from this material still have the buyer, generally because of the low cost and ability to serve as reliable protection during rainy season. One of shortcomings of bolonyevy jacket is low durability. It can be torn or burned easily then the "chemical" cloth can be repaired only by means of glue.

- - glue;
- - cotton wool;
- - ethyl acetate or acetone;
- - iron;
- - dry cloth;
- - rags for patches (or applique);
- - long and cuticle scissors;
- - edge;
- - press.
Instruction
1. Correctly pick up glue structure for repair of bolonyevy jacket. Before application of means it is desirable not only to read the instruction of the producer, but also to test its action on scrap of unnecessary Bologna. Has well proved as glue for Bologna mix from rubber and ethyl acetate (air of acetic acid) of KP-1 brand; it is also possible to test any rubber glue, "Moment" or "the Super Moment".
2. Cut out patch longwise of gap from same, as at jacket, Bologna (ideally) or from the rubberized fabric suitable on color.
3. Wipe inner side of the damaged bolonyevy jacket with the cotton tampon, the wetted in ethyl acetate or acetone. Wait couple of minutes.
4. Apply glue on patch according to the instruction on packing (usually it is required to count certain amount of time before compression of adherend surfaces).
5. Carefully connect joints of gap and press patch to jacket reverse. Put on it press weighing not less than a kilogram and sustain its put time (it will be specified on the label of glue structure). Act carefully that joints of bolonyevy cloth have not dispersed.
6. If from face side of jacket from Bologna the stuck together gap looks not too esthetically, try to paste the applique suitable on design and structure of cloth on the damaged place.
7. It is possible to repair Bologna (if on jacket large gap or the burned opening) by means of two patches – front and back. Accurately level hole sharp cuticle scissors or shaving edge then paste piece of Bologna of large diameter from jacket reverse.
8. From "face" of product it is necessary to put the patch which is precisely coinciding with it in form to tear.
9. Estimate exterior of both patches and paste them. After that it is recommended to cover the stuck together place with piece of dry linen or cotton cloth and to carefully iron it the iron with temperature regulator, having set temperature condition not higher than 110 degrees.
