The casein option of proteinaceous glue is received from skim cheese. Albumin - from blood of animals. There is also combined albumino-casein option. In all cases as initial raw materials for production of glues of this group serves protein which contains in blood or milk of animals. Resin adhesives are made of artificial phenol formaldehyde and amino-formaldehyde pitches. It is necessary to remember that the choice of the grade of glue depends on air humidity indoors where the ready design and also from necessary degree of durability of finished product will be used.
2. Evenly and accurately apply adhesive layer on adherend surfaces by means of brush or the roller. Densely press them to each other, using clamps or clips. Remove surplus of glue.
3. If for some reason you have no opportunity to buy ready glue for plywood, to make casein glue quite perhaps in house conditions. For this purpose it is necessary to take skim cheese and to mix it with ammonia solution in proportion 4:1. Smear parts with the received weight and strong press to each other. For pasting of the surfaces which are affected by moisture make glue of other structure. Take joiner's glue and heat it. Add drying oil or vegetable oil to proportions 4:1.
4. It is necessary to know that it is not recommended to stick together the laminated plywood - its film layer, on the physical characteristics, it is not suitable for similar operation. If necessary to stick together the laminated plywood it is necessary to remove laminate layer to wood by means of abrasive paper. Carefully dry and clean surface. Use epoxy glue.
