- - pure gasoline;
- - glue 88H;
- - file;
- - soldering iron;
- - waxed thread;
- - pricker;
- - shoe hook;
- - prevention.
Instruction
1. Before starting repair, define what the sole is made of. Usually it is rubber or from polyurethane. If sole rubber, clean it from dirt and carefully degrease, using pure gasoline. After that apply on it glue 88H and wait until it dries up. Usually it takes 10-15 minutes. Fill footwear the newspaper or any dense paper. Place it under press for 8-10 hours.
2. If sole from polyurethane, clean the place of pasting from dirt and degrease by means of pure gasoline. Take flat file and accurately cut the painted skin layer. Once again degrease the repaired surface. Using the warmed soldering iron, smear small pieces of polyurethane (cut off from old sole) on skin in the place which needs under repair. Squeeze sole and upper part of footwear in the place of pasting and carry out between them the soldering iron. Keep in mind that repair of this type of sole demands certain training. Precisely maintain pressure between sole and upper part of footwear and you watch soldering iron temperature. The device has to be strongly warmed.
3. If the unstuck sole has the edge coming on footwear, it can be repaired and in a different way. Clean the damaged zone from pollution and degrease pure gasoline. Apply on sole and on the upper skin in the place of repair glue 88H. In 10-15 minutes very much press sole to top. Take waxed thread (strong twisted linen thread) rubbed with the shoe thief. By means of pricker and special shoe hook sew sole to footwear top. Remember that the seam has to be at distance the 4-5th from the top sawn-off shotgun of sole.
4. If on sole small cracks have appeared, and it began to come unstuck, you need glue 88H and setup (prevention). Clean the damaged site and degrease pure gasoline. Apply glue on sole and on prevention. In 15 minutes paste setup on sole and place under press for 8-10 hours.
