Perlite perfectly approaches to store dahlias in winter time. But also it has the shortcoming. It cannot absorb excess of moisture from tubers, besides its dust interferes with normal "breath". Extremely are not recommended to use moss for storage dahlia. It has property of deduction of moisture that strongly influences tubers. When using damp Mocha occurs rotting of planting stock. It is possible to store dahlias by means of such reliable method as waxing of tubers. Its sense consists in immersion of tubers in the melted paraffin.
