The laminated parquet or, simply telling, laminate is today one of the most demanded finishing materials which are applied at the device of floors. Laminate is plain in use and mounting, is strong, esthetic, but, at the same time, demands observance of some special conditions during the transporting and storage before use.
Instruction
1. Before placing laminate on long or temporary storage, examine panels. At once select those from them which were for some reason damaged or initially defective. It does not make sense to store panels which will be all the same defective when mounting floors subsequently.
2. Before direct laying of laminate let's it rest in bed not less than two days, or even longer. Provide indoors where panels, the air temperature not lower than 18 degrees and humidity within 50-60% will be stored, but it is not higher than 75% by no means. If laminate is acquired in packing, leave it untouched before use, it will allow to keep working qualities of material.
3. Choose the place excluding penetration of water under film covering for laminate storage. Make sure that in storing place of the panel cannot undergo accidental mechanical influence from falling of large objects. On packings with panels do not put any other products and do not put other construction materials. Especially show consideration for safety of lock connections, having protected them from possible deformation.
4. Provide the required microclimate at the placement of laminate on long storage. The room has to be the dry, rather well getting warm and not having draft. It is necessary to store laminate in horizontal position. If room space allows, lay panels in its center that the distance to walls exceeded 1 m.
5. Sustain stable climatic indoor environment where laminate laying, within several days is supposed. Air temperature has to be higher than 18 degrees, the humidity should not exceed 70%. It is the most ideal if storage conditions of panels before installation and condition indoors where laminate should be operated, coincide.
