Open windows and doors are the main reasons of appearance of flies in the apartment. They are attracted by heat, light and availability of food. Hang out these strips on rope in the room in which flies have accumulated.

Some houseplants help to get rid of flies, frightening off them the smell. The geranium, eucalyptus and myrtle are among such plants, for example. Place pots with these plants on windowsills and at open doors. For protection of kitchen it is possible to use the crushed leaves of mint or basil, display them in cooking zone, besides, the basil can be grown up in pot and to hold it in kitchen.
In summertime on windowsill it is possible to spread out fresh branches of elder or fern.
For prevention of penetration of flies through windows, close them mosquito grid, it it is possible to take in finished form together with the body or to make independently of piece of grid. You watch condition of mosquito grid, at emergence of openings in it immediately repair it. One more way to protect the apartment from penetration of flies is to process windows and doors special structure. As such structure it is possible to use, for example, lavender oil or juice of onions. Blot piece of matter with this solution and wipe with it window frames and outer doors. This procedure needs to be carried out periodically since the structure will disappear over time.
