What is fusariosis
Fuzariozny withering of asters causes mushroom fuzarum which is capable to remain long time in the soil in look dispute. Infection of plants occurs through the soil: getting to roots, the mycelium together with nutrients extends on all plant and, expanding, interferes further with normal power supply of aster. From landing of young plant in soil before his death there can pass the considerable interval of time – asters usually perish during budding and blossoming when they need the strengthened power supply.
In the beginning on leaves there are yellowish spots which gradually gain brown color, dry up and are twisted. Unfortunately, there are no effective methods of treatment of asters for fusariosis. The infected plants should be removed from the site with root at once and to burn to avoid spread of infection. However it is possible to try to avoid in the future the outbreak of this disease if to consider some features of its distribution. The fact is that fuzarum – extremely selective mushroom also strikes only asters therefore important agrotechnical reception in cultivation of asters – observance of crop rotation. At the same time have to return to the old place of plant not earlier, than in 3-4 years. The great value needs to be attached to quality of soil – on alkaline soils of aster have fusariosis less often, than on sour It means that as fertilizer it is necessary to bring only well rerotting compost, excepting fresh manure and sawdust. It is also important to avoid thickness of landings and the raised soil moisture on the site where asters grow. Before their landing the soil needs to be processed copper vitriol which effectively struggles with fungal diseases. As an alternative this medicine can water landings with biological Baikal EM solution. The microorganisms which are contained in it well revitalize the soil and fight against harmful microorganisms.
